Beach Bus

The Beach Bus operates Monday to Sunday and runs north and south, from Connors Corner in Bingil Bay through to Mitchell Street at South Mission Beach. Services operate from 9am to 6pm. With prices starting from $3 per section this little bus is a great way to explore the 4 villages of Mission Beach.

Greyhound

9 services a day arrive into and depart from Mission Beach. Bookings can be made via the Greyhound website or through the Mission Beach Information Station. Tickets may be pre-booked by phone on 13 14 99 and picked up from in-store.

Premier

Two services a day. South-bound at 9.25am and north-bound at 5.20pm. If departing from Cairns you will need to be at the Lake Street stop at 7am for a 7.25am departure. Tickets available from Premier 13 34 10 or through the Mission Beach Information Station. Tickets may be pre-booked by phone on 13 34 10 and picked up from in-store.

The nearest railway station is located in Tully (22 km inland from Mission Beach). Queensland Rail's Traveltrain Services include the Sunlander and the Tilt Train. A taxi service is available to transfer clients from Tully to Mission Beach - the cost is approximately $55 for a vehicle seating 4 passengers.
