Brown Tree Snake

"brown tree snake" "mission beach" queenslandSnakes are frequently in the news in Northern Australia and Mission Beach certainly has its share but fortunately most are non-venomous like the Brown Tree Snake. This individual was captured in the ladies toilets at a popular beach earlier this week and relocated to a more suitable location! Pythons are also highly active in the warm weather and homeowners with poultry, pet cats or small dogs are strongly advised to be diligent or an unwanted visitor may just drop by for a meal.

For all snakes ring Adrian Walker, our local snake handler, on 40687531.
