Cyclone Yasi
In early February, 2011, Cyclone Yasi crossed the Cassowary Coast of Far North Queensland. Mission Beach and surrounding regions, suffered both structural and much vegetation damage, but after dusting ourselves off, we went immediately into recovery mode. We have made great steps forward and are preparing for a bumper tourist season ahead.

Cyclone Yasi crossed the Cassowary Coast of Far North Queensland.
Mission Beach and surrounding regions, suffered both structural and much vegetation damage, but after dusting ourselves off, we went immediately into recovery mode. We have made great steps forward and appreciate the number of visitors that are continuing to choose Mission Beach as their preferred holiday destination.
Stunning Mission Beach
Stunning Mission Beach is just under two hours scenic drive from Cairns and although Cyclone Yasi may have shaken this coastal community up a bit – business owners and locals are well and truly open for business.
